Dr. Afroza is a pediatrician with over 10 years of experience. She earned her MBBS from Badrunnessa Govt. Girls’ College, Dhaka in 1994, completed her MPH from NIPSOM in 2003 and further finished her FCPS in 2010 from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Afroza also holds a certificate for M.R. Training and Services Program from Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. She worked as a Registrar/Assistant Professor at Ibrahim Medical College & BIRDEM General Hospital from 2011 to 2014. She then joined Zam Zam Hospital Pvt. Ltd. Cox’s Bazar as the Director & Senior Consultant of Newborn Special Care Unit in January 2015. Later from September 2015 to April 2016, she worked at KC Hospital and Diagnostic Center, Uttara, Dhaka as a Consultant Paediatrics & Neonatologist. Prior to joining Praava, Dr. Afroza worked as a Consultant Paediatrics & Neonatologist at the Center for Women and Child Health, Dhaka.
